Shawn M. Jack
Director of Sales & Embedded Ecosystems
Shawn is a lead for the Key Account Sales team which consists of 10 Key Account Managers. His primary responsibility is to lead this sales team to success by targeting revenues exceeding $78M in 2017. While his primary focus is running the Key Account Sales team, he is also responsible for driving strategy and planning with our Ecosystem partners-Intel, Microsoft and Qualcomm as it relates to co-marketing, sales and collaboration.
Shawn’s team covers the western territory, spanning 20 states and 4 provinces, in both the US and Canada. The team focuses on providing Embedded IoT sensor nodes, gateways, industrial subsystems and servers, along with displays and software services to support next generation applications within the vertical markets they serve.
Product Director Gaming Sector
Craig is a product director in charge of the gaming sector worldwide. He manages product development teams in both Taiwan and the UK. With over 20 years of expertise in the industrial electronics and computing industry, Craig’s business acumen and industry knowledge has helped Advantech streamline continual growth these past 6 years. While Craig is a master at providing trusted service and solution, he knows that he can’t do alone. “Our expert team has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and can help customers with the design in process,” he said.
District Sales Manager
Huan Trang is a district sales manager for Advantech, supporting markets in California, the Pacific Northwest, and the Southwestern United States. Since stepping into this role in 2014, Trang has been vital in leading sales efforts, with a core focus on verticals in the automotive and military/aerospace markets. Trang’s invaluable decade of experience in sales has been a major factor in helping grow Advantech’s revenue, while driving the district sales team to capture new market opportunities.
A true collaborator, Trang enjoys the opportunity to lead and work in a team environment, learn from senior management and contribute to Advantech’s overall growth. Trang is intent on providing his talented team with the right tools and resources to exercise their creativity and skills in servicing Advantech’s valuable customers.
Ween Niu is general manager for Advantech North America. Niu is accountable for regional sales and marketing revenue, as well as overseeing strategic business planning. Since taking the post in 2000, Niu has helped achieve 3,000 percent growth. Within the past 5 years alone, Advantech USA has had an average growth of 25 percent. As a key player in Advantech’s globalization process, Niu’s strong operational and sales strategies are integral to the prosperity and stabilization of the corporation’s worldwide network.
His experience and insightful contributions to Advantech, both locally and globally, have had a powerful impact on business development. The steady increase in Advantech’s American market share – which accounted for an impressive 28 percent of total revenue in 2014 – continues to capture current, emerging vertical segments, thanks to Niu’s tireless devotion.
